Book Talk with Steve Fagin: "Treasures of Southeastern Connecticut"

Steve Fagin writes the weekly Great Outdoors column for The Day Newspaper. He was the principal author and editor of The Day’s upcoming hardcover coffee table book, Treasures of Southeastern Connecticut: Our Proud History of Preserving Scenic Woodlands, Farms, the Shoreline and Other Natural Gems. He will be presenting an illustrated talk of the 144-page book. The book features more than 50 essays and over 120 color photographs celebrating the region’s many natural attractions, tracing their history and paying tribute to the organizations that helped preserve them for future generations. The book includes essays about and photographs of Rocky Neck, the Niantic River, Nehantic State Forest and other areas in East Lyme as well as all over southeastern Connecticut.
