Richard Foye will discuss his new book, Foye and the Filipinos: Bailout, Escape, and Rescue of a Navy Fighter Pilot in WW II Luzon, a story about his father’s luck, bravery, and sacrifice. It chronicles William “Bill” Foye’s bravery and survival after his fighter plane was hit by Japanese anti-aircraft fire and his rescue by courageous Filipinos.
