Health Wellness and Longevity – How to make your life longer and better

Join us on Thursday, May 30, 2019, in the East Lyme Community Center, Activity Room, at 7:00 p.m. for a special evening featuring Leo Cooney, Jr., MD and Geoffrey Tremont, PhD.

Geoffrey Temont, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Brown University; Director of Neuropsychology, Rhode Island Hospital, will share his expertise on cognitive function; normal patterns of aging, including psychological aging; memory loss; and prevention of cognitive and memory loss.

Leo Cooney, Jr., MD, Humana Foundation, member; Professor of Geriatric Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, will speak in-depth on the adaptation process to personal changes in cognitive function and memory loss.

The availability and accessibility of support services for older individuals in southeastern Connecticut will also be discussed.
