Patrons of all ages are welcome to submit an original spooky story for our 1st annual library spooky writing contest! Participants must be residents of East Lyme, CT or Salem, CT.

Submitted Stories must:

• be set in East Lyme

• be a minimum of two sentences and a maximum of ten pages

• not have excessive foul language or gore (thanks!)

• submissions will be accepted online starting October 1.

The Library will be creating a bound copy of submissions. The three winning submissions from the East Lyme Public Library will be sent to the statewide contest to be added to the collection "Spooky CT".

Submissions are due by Friday, November 7 by 5:00 pm. Submissions will not be accepted in person at the Library.
